Masterchef Season 9 will be the most competitive season yet

Masterchef Season 9 premieres on May 30 and it’s set to be the most competitive and intense season of all.
A new Masterchef Season 9 promo has been revealed and it shows that the heat is not just going to be in the kitchen. The competition is going to be the most intense ever, with everyone getting “Gordoned.” Not sure what that means? Check out the promo below to find out more.
This season will see the three chefs choose their teams. They have eight aprons to hand out to the contestants and there’s almost a The Voice-style round of picking-and-choosing going on. The chefs go head-to-head to build their teams of those they feel are worthy. That could mean a few go home empty handed right away, while others may find that all three chefs would like them on their teams. Who would you choose if you had the chance?

Masterchef Season 9 has been highly anticipated by many, with the exit of Christina Tosi as one of the chef judges and the return of Joe Bastianich, who left a few seasons ago.

The first two episodes will be two-hour long specials. This is likely due to the new way of creating the teams, with the style of The Voice’s blind auditions. After the first two weeks, the series will settle back into its one-hour a week routine.
