Krispy Kreme brings blueberry-glazed donuts and you need them now!

The new blueberry-glazed donut is now available at Krispy Kreme restaurants around the States. You better get them quick, as they’re not going to be around for long.
If you love the traditionally glazed donuts, you’ll definitely want to check out the latest creation from Krispy Kreme. The donut masterminds have brought a blueberry twist to that glaze, giving you a fruity taste without the thick, gooey middles, perfect for those who just love normal ring donuts. However, you’ll want to make sure you get into a store close to you now, as the donuts are only around for a limited time.
There’s no set date when the blueberry-glazed donuts will disappear. So far, the tweet from the donut firm has only said: “while supplies last.” According to AL.com, the donuts are around until May 27, although they may disappear sooner from select stores if they prove to be overly successful.

This isn’t the first time a new glaze has been released. Earlier this year, Krispy Kreme brought the delicious lemon glaze after it won a customer vote for the newest glaze to try in the stores. Blueberry came second and the company has clearly decided to give it a shot due to the popularity of it and the success of the lemon. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like maple and caramel glazes will appear unless the blueberry glaze is an overwhelming success.

Previous years have seen other glazes. A green one was introduced temporarily in 2017 for St. Patrick’s Day and a chocolate glaze was used for the solar eclipse last year. Pumpkin spice glazes have also been used in the fall.
The blueberry glaze was a challenge for the Krispy Kreme team. However, the firm thinks it has got the flavor just right. This is the week that we’ll find out.
