#5. Cockroaches in the kitchen
This is based on a restaurant near me that has changed hands multiple times and continues to struggle because of the knowledge of cockroaches in the place. Having cockroaches around is a sure sign that you have no intention of creating a safe and clean place and is a sign for customers to definitely stay away.
News will get around fast that you have any type of rodent or pest infestation in your restaurant. It ruins the reputation of the place for years to come, even if it does change hands or management. Definitely don’t let Ramsay find you with these creatures, as he will blow a gasket at you.
