Customers have taken to Twitter to voice their frustration at Chick-fil-A after dropping one of their most popular products.

The Cow Calendar is no more! Chick-fil-A announced that they are to drop the popular calendar at the end of this year; the 2018 calendar will officially be the last. The news broke when they sent out an e-mail to customers explaining their decision.

This decision marks the end of an era as The Cow Calendar had become one of the most popular items for customers. Not only was it popular for the pictures of Chick-fil-A cows, which were usually up to some sort of antic, but because it was also a great source of free menu items; as those who purchased the calendar would be offered a free product every month.

Understandably, customers have not taken the news very well. Some customers even took to Twitter to voice their frustration at the decision and it has since sparked Twitter outrage, with some customers feeling that this is the worst news ever! (Which it is!)

Other Twitter users have pointed out that customers are still not used to what has already been removed from the menu. Adding the calendar into the mix is just too much.

It’s a sad day overall for Chick-fil-A fans and the sad truth is, there isn’t much to say to help them through this difficult time.

This move is ultimately a strategic one. Chick-fil-A will be hoping that with the discontinuation of the calendar, more customers will opt for the reward program which is available via the app or online.
