Burger King harness the power of the sun in latest cooking method

Ever thought you could cook an egg on the sidewalk? Well, that is what Burger King is achieving with their latest sun cooking method.
Did you ever try it? Or at least were tempted to try cracking an egg on the sidewalk to see if it would cook? What about the car engine block? That’s another method apparently. Well, Burger King is using the aged old sidewalk technique, by using the sun to cook their meat.
They have put a bit of science behind it mind you. It is not quite as simple as walking outside and throwing a piece of meat on the sidewalk.

Using a parabolic metallic device to aid them with their cooking, they can harness the power of the sun and direct it to cook the burgers that go onto your bun.
Don’t believe me? Well, I wouldn’t blame you really; it all sounds a bit too good to be true. So, in an effort to convince us, Burger King has created an advert of the cooking in action.
You won’t find anyone doing it over here, however, even with the parabolic metallic dish; the temperatures do not reach the required amount to cook anything.

No this is all out in Kuwait. The Burger King chains out there are able to pull off the stunt because their temperatures routinely reach over 50 degree Celsius or 122 Fahrenheit.
