Will Pizza Pizza come to the US?
It’s not impossible. Pizza Pizza is a franchise restaurant, so if someone is willing to invest in a franchise and set it up in the US then it could, in theory, happen.
There may be some barriers to the possibility, however. Pizza Pizza HQ may not want any chains going international. They may only want the restaurants in Canada for a number of reasons. Therefore an investor wanting to take the chain to the US may get sidelined.
Another issue that may go against a Pizza Pizza is opening in the US would seem them have little or no support system in place. There are no other chains there, so whoever goes at it first, goes it alone. Not an ideal situation for a prospective investor.
So while it is always possible that a Pizza Pizza could pop up in the US it is not something you should expect to see happen within the next couple of weeks.
These things take time. Chick-fil-A, for example, has only just decided to move into Canada and they have been open in the US since 2013.
