Doctor Fork pizza is fake Google made it all up!

If you have seen an advert for Doctor Fork pizza recently I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but they are not real, Google made it all up.

It sounds bizarre at first but in retrospect, Google creating a fake pizza company called Doctor Fork has been by far the most impressive, and logical thing I have seen all year.

So if you haven’t heard about Doctor Fork, it is a pizza company that doesn’t exist. Google made them completely up. Why? Because Google are geniuses, that’s why.

Instead of having worried companies create adverts that will ultimately flop, Google had their Unskippable Labs team figure out what worked and what doesn’t. Why? Well if a company was to make a poor advert it would result in, money wasted, pretty much no new business, and ultimately valuable time wasted.

Whereas if Google makes up a company and runs a few test adverts, it doesn’t matter if they flop or not, they want o know what works and what doesn’t so they can deliver a service to advertisers and companies by saying, this is what doesn’t work, this does. Companies then take that info; make their advert, then pay Google to share their ad.

And the Doctor Fork adverts were pretty effective. They reached over 2 million people across 33 different adverts and learned facts like, close up shots work of food work the best; how we respond to seeing others enjoy food, etc, etc.

It’s valuable and useful work they have done for those out there looking to create the perfect ad. The only downside is it has probably left 2 million very hungry, looking around for a Dr Fork and wondering why they can’t find it.
