Krispy Kreme are bringing back the Lemon Drizzle Donut

Mark your calendar donut fans; Krispy Kreme is bringing back the Lemon Drizzle Donut for a limited time.
Featuring all the best aspects of the original glazed donut but with a lemon flavor twist, the Lemon Drizzle Donut is on the way back to Krispy Kreme stores.
However, just like the last time, the donut is for a limited time only. The Lemon Drizzle Donut will make its way into stores on Monday, August 27, but will be leaving the stores almost as quickly as it arrived as they will be leaving stores on Sunday, September 2.

When Krispy Kreme first brought out the Lemon Drizzle Donut it was all part of the #VoteForGlaze campaign. Krispy Kreme put up several different flavored glazed donuts against each other to see who would win. Caramel, Blueberry, Maple and Lemon Drizzle all featured during the campaign and it was the Lemon Drizzle that came out ahead of the competition.

So it’s not really surprising that bosses at Krispy Kreme HQ have decided to bring the donut back. They certainly know the demand is there and it makes it much easier for us donut fanatics to know when it will be back and for how long for, rather than stalking the stores waiting to see if it appears.
