Designer shoes that look like they came straight out of McDonald’s

Fashion designers need to get their inspiration from somewhere and it looks like Balenciaga got their inspiration from McDonald’s.
The vast majority of us love McDonald’s. There is a reason why they are so big. But, do we love them enough to wear a set of shoes that have clearly been inspired by the fast-food chain?
I don’t know about you but I don’t love McDonald’s that much, and I certainly wouldn’t pay £425 for the privilege even if I was.

But fashion designers Balenciaga certainly seems to think someone out there does, after releasing a pair of shoes that resemble the McDonald’s fries carton.

It didn’t take too long for someone to make this connection and plaster it all over social media, and going off the general consensus, a lot of people are thinking along the same lines that the Balenciaga designer was sitting in a McDonald’s restaurant when designing these shoes.
I am sure Balenciaga is not relishing the idea of their new design being mocked though. First of all, as the old saying goes, there is no such thing as bad publicity. Secondly, they have been in this situation before.

Back in 2017 they unveiled a lovely tote bag that had everybody pointing at how it really looked like the bags you can get from IKEA. The shape, color, size, and look were all similar. Except the price; IKEA bag would only set you back 40p, the Balenciaga bag would set you back £1,600.
