Krispy Kreme is bringing back the chocolate glazed donut on a regular basis

Rejoice! The chocolate glazed donut is heading back to Krispy Kreme and it’ll be available on a monthly basis!
When World Chocolate Day happened, Krispy Kreme did something that we were shocked but happy about. They replaced their glazed donuts with a chocolate glazed one. Yes, the signature donut transformed into chocolate goodness for the day.
Well, it turns out that this little marketing stunt was a good thing. It showed the company just how much we, as a nation, adore our chocolate and our donuts together. Krispy Kreme has now decided to make this Chocolate Glazed Donut a monthly thing.

Where I am, we have what’s called “First Friday.” A lot of the local businesses put on events, special offers, promos, etc. on the first Friday of the month. Well, Krispy Kreme is getting into that mindset.

The first Friday of the month will be Chocolate Glazed Donut day. Not every store across the world is jumping in on this. It’s going to be across the United States and Canada and they’ll only be available while stock lasts, but it’s better than no chocolatey, donuty goodness at all, right?

Does this mean that the Original Glazed Donut won’t be around on these days? That’s not entirely clear, but since there’s a point of only select locations getting involved and only when supplies last, that’s unlikely.
