McDonald’s Canada offering free Coca-Cola glasses to collect

Remember a few summers ago when you needed to catch all the Pokemon? Now you need to catch all the Coca-Cola glasses, as McDonald’s Canada is offering them for free.
Every now and then you’ll see limited-time collectibles from McDonald’s. It happens around the world. Sometimes these items are just for fun but sometimes they can be useful items in the home. The new McDonald’s Canada collection is the latter.
Remember when you had to collect all the Pokemon? Well, this is surely going to turn out like that. People will want to collect every single Coca-Cola glass on offer at McDonald’s Canada locations nationwide. There are four to collect, so it’s not going to take you too long.

So, are there any catches? After all, the word “free” was in there.
Yes, they are free but only with a purchase at McDonald’s. You’ll need to get an Extra Value Meal and one glass comes with it.

Awesome, right! It certainly is, but there’s still another catch. The glasses are only available from select stores. You’ll need to go to a McDonald’s Canada in a Wal-Mart to grab your glass.

Anything else? The glasses won’t come with Happy Meals, Extra Value Breakfast Meals, McPick Meals, or any coupon offers. You’ll also only be able to get one glass per order—not per individual meal you order within an order if that makes sense. That means you’ll need to go four times to get each of the glasses.

Of course, if you’re going in as a family, you can cheat a little. Why not get the two adults to split their order in two? Nobody will know the difference. Right?
