Are Krispy Kreme S’mores donuts available in the US?

Krispy Kreme UK is about to launch the S’mores donuts. But is it available on this side of the Atlantic? Can we get them in or is it a UK only donut?
Fans of Krispy Kreme are about to get a very special treat on Monday; the S’mores donut. But what about all of us on the other side of the big blue ocean. Are we ever going to be able to sample the sweet, sweet taste of a S’mores donut?
Unfortunately, the answer is not good. It looks like we may never get the chance to try out the new addition to the UK menu.

As far as we can tell at Guilty Eats, Krispy Kreme US, and Canada, have no intention of adding it to their menu. Now that doesn’t mean that they never will. They may do it one day, but right this second, as I tap away on my keyboard this Saturday afternoon, the S’mores donut is for UK customers only.

Now, this may have something to do with the S’mores donuts being made with Lotus Biscoff. I am purely speculating at this point, but Lotus Biscoff is a European company so maybe that has something to do with the donuts not be available here.

Like I said, just speculating, but I would rather there be a reason for not having the donuts available in the US and Canada, rather than them just not bothering. Because if they just are not bothering, then that means there is little hope of them arriving here, if there is a reason, then there is hope.
Basically, I just want them to become available over here because they look so good!
