The Chicken Tortada is coming to Taco Bell. It’s an extremely limited menu item. Here are all the details you need.
If you love Crispy Chicken Chips at Taco Bell, you’re going to love the sound of the Chicken Tortada. They’re just one of the menu items added into the wraps, which comes in two flavors. The bad news is you can currently only get it in one place.
Kansas City, Missouri is testing the new Chicken Tortada for a limited time. You’ll want to get it quick if you want to make it clear that this needs to come to more locations and for a longer time.

Wait, just what is the Chicken Tortada? Brand Eating states that it’s like the Crunchwrap Supreme but without the tostada shell. You get Crispy Chicken Chips and red tortilla strips, with lettuce, a three-cheese blend, and pico de gallo.

There are two flavors that you can order. The first is the Avocado Ranch, which offers the ranch dressing in the tortada. The second is the Mango Habanaro, which is covered in delicious mango sauce judging from the look of this photo from FoodBeast
FoodBeast also describes the Chicken Tortada as a tostada-burrito-torta hybrid. That sounds about right judging by the look and sound of it.

You’ve got until the middle of October (no set date has been reported yet) to try out the delicious offerings from Taco Bell. You can get the tortadas on their own for $2.49 or as a box meal with a crunchy taco, cinnamon roll, and medium drink for $5.
This certainly isn’t the first time the “tortada” has made it’s way to Taco Bell. Earlier this year the Bacon Ranch and Salsa Roja versions were offered with grilled chicken instead of crispy. Could these varieties win out?
