September 22 marks the official first day of fall. The last week of September is upon us. Can you believe it? It only feels like last month that it was January! Well, with the last week of September there’s a lot of free food across the States if you know where to look.
We’re not going to make you search high and low. Everything that we could find is on this list, whether you want soup deals, free coffee, burgers, and more.

I will note that not everything is entirely free. Of course, there are stipulations, like you buy something and get something free. Others are $1 or less, so they’re almost free.
Go to Quiznos today
If you want soup, then you’ll want to head over to Quiznos. The soups are 99c for the day. This includes every single soup on the menu.
There’s one small catch. You need to be part of the loyalty program, but this is free to sign up to. By signing up, you’ll get other deals and cheap offerings throughout the year.
Free coffees
If you’re looking for free coffee, then there are a couple of options available. If you’re close to the Corner Bakery Cafe locations, you’ll want to head there on Friday, Sept. 28. There are free coffees with absolutely no strings attached. Awesome, right?
When you buy something at Bruegger’s Bagels between Sept. 22 and 29, you’ll get a free coffee too. You can get something big or small for the free drink.
Cheap food
Now it comes to the not quite free food but close enough. Dairy Queen and Houlihan’s both have offers you’ll want to snap up.
When you order an entree at Houlihan’s, you can get the famous stuffed mushrooms for $1. These usually cost $10.99, so you’re definitely making a delicious saving. This is only available on Sept. 24.

Meanwhile, if you get the burger and Blizzard combo on the Dairy Queen app, you’ll get it all for just $4. Sure, it may be the start of fall but that doesn’t mean you can’t eat ice cream!
Another option is to head to Boston Market and sign up for the VIP Club. You’ll get $3 off any $10 purchase.
Buy something, get something free
As many companies want to encourage you to put some money into their business, they’ll offer a buy one item, get something else free. That’s exactly what Wendy’s is doing next week if you download the app.
Wendy’s offer is for a Dave’s Single burger when you buy anything else on the menu. Whether you get a Frosty, fries, a drink, or even a shake, you can grab a free burger with your purchase.
Burger King is the other option, which is doing a BOGO offer on Whoppers. Again, you’ll need to get the app to get that deal.
Not for humans
Not everything is about you and the kids, right? Sometimes you want something for the four-legged members of the family. Well, Omaha Steaks is the place to go for the not quite free food. Since the brand has recently branched out in the pet food industry, they’re selling new pet snacks. On Sept. 25, you can get the snacks for just a buck.
What are you getting next week from the free food options? Which chain will you visit? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
