Your classic Subway steak sandwich has received an upgrade, but not just some bog standard upgrade, but a major mouth-watering upgrade.
Prepare yourself Subway fans, the next time you visit your local sandwich shop you are going to notice that your steak sandwich has been upgraded. Not only that, but you will find three steak upgrades have taken place.
Introducing the new Chipotle Cheesesteak, it offers guest a surprising but delightful twist on the regular Steak & Cheese sandwich.

Using Sunflower Crunch bread, the Chipotle Cheesesteak is a combination of steak and shredded Monterey cheddar cheese, it contains a mixture of spicy and smoky flavors, jalapenos and Chipotle Southwest sauce. Topped off with crisp lettuce, sliced tomatoes, green peppers, and red onion, according to a press release.
Available from September 21, so they are out in stores already, the addition of the new Chipotle Cheesesteak puts the Subway Steak Collection up to three.

The ‘Classic Steak & Cheese Sub’; made with steak and shredded Monterey Jack cheddar cheese. You can choose your own vegetable selection to go with it and bread.

The ‘Chipotle Southwest Steak & Cheese Signature Wrap’; again, steak and shredded Monterey Jack cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, sliced tomatoes, green peppers, jalapenos, guacamole, and onion. Layered with Chipotle Southwest sauce, it is then all wrapped together in a Tomato Basil Wrap.
Subway has certainly blessed us with their Steak and Cheese options, the only problem we are going to have is choosing which option we want.
