McDonald’s has made some changes to it’s classic burgers

McDonald’s in the US has gone made some significant changes to its classic burgers, all of them surprisingly good changes as well.

McDonald’s revealed yesterday, September 26, that major changes to their classic burgers had taken place. Marking the next major milestone in the fast food restaurants journey to building a better restaurant.

As of the announcement, none of their burgers contain artificial preservatives, flavors, or added colors from artificial sources. Their burgers are essentially artificial free. The only part of the burger that still contains any artificial preservatives is the pickle, which customers can request not be put on their burger.

This change affects all of the stores in the US, all 14,000 in total.

McDonald’s burgers that come under this umbrella include, the hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, McDouble, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and the Big Mac according to the McDonald’s press release.

This means that approximately two-thirds of McDonald’s national burgers and sandwiches available to customers contain no artificial preservatives, flavors or added colors. Meaning customers have a much wider range of choice when it comes to choosing their food when visiting the chain.

The fact they have rolled this to in every single McDonald’s franchise also makes it easier for customers, as they will not have to seek out specific branches or anything.

No mention of, if any, changes to the overall taste of the burgers with the new rollout was declared in the press release.
