KFC, the fast food chicken restaurant is expanding into….gaming?

Not something you hear every day but the fast food outlet KFC, who specializes in fried chicken, has decided to branch out into the world of gaming.

Yeah, this isn’t a joke. KFC has legitimately decided to expand into the world of gaming. Not beef burgers, or sausages, or some other food you would think a fast food chain who specialize in fried chicken would expand into, but gaming.

The announcement came via their official Twitter account. Announcing that, player one had entered the game!

With the rise of gaming fast becoming one of the major industries of the world, it is not overly surprising that a lot of current business will be looking for ways to expand into the region; but KFC? A fast food industry of all things?

It does seem really strange, but it does look like the Colonel is going for it. KFC Gaming does really look as though it will be here and be here soon.

Specific details are a bit lack. Really the majority of the details are giving in the promo video from the tweet. How exactly will it look? How KFC will come into specifically, and more are still to be revealed.

Considering that this is only just getting off the ground now, as, in the last few months, it is expected that the finer details would still being flushed out so haven’t been announced yet.

One thing is certain, more details will follow soon, and when they do we will be excited to see what they have in store for us.
