Sushi Donuts: Would we welcome them in Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’, or any other donut store?

Did you know Sushi Donuts are a thing? Would you like them to be sold in Krispy Kreme or Dunkin’? Or is that step too far?

When you visit the likes of Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’, you expect to find a wide range of donuts available. In fact, you expect them to have the donuts that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Why? Because they specialize in donuts. So what about Sushi Donuts? Is that a bit far? 0r do you think they should start being sold in donut stores?

Now before you even question the validity of a sushi donut, they really do exist. Poke Burri are the masterminds behind the sushi donut, showing that there is really no limit to being creative when it comes to eating sushi. They are also the ones behind the sushi pizza as well.

So now that you know it is a real thing, would we welcome the idea of them popping up in Krispy Kreme, Dunkin, or any other donut store?

There is really no reason for them not to pop up. It’s technically a donut, so it belongs in a donut store. However, no matter how I try to justify the idea, there is just something about it that makes me go, “Nope! Shouldn’t happen!”

There is probably some health and safety issue about handling sushi next to regular donuts as well, never mind the weird attack on my sense of smell that would occur also. Sweet along with fish? It just doesn’t seem quite right to time.

No, I think this is one of those cases that would be going too far. While a sushi donut is for all intense and purposes, a donut. It’s a donut that needs to stay far away from the donut shops.
