As we remember those who have fallen. Will you be able to grab a coffee during the day? Is Starbucks open on Veterans Day 2018?
There are many holidays that fast food chains and coffee retailers recognize. And Veterans Day is one holiday that should always be recognized. But while they may recognize it, do they close their doors for it? Is Starbucks open on Veterans Day?
In short, yes. Starbucks will be open. While Starbucks does officially recognize Veterans Day, it will not be closed for the day. The only holidays they do tend to close for, although it can vary, are New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

So the coffee giants will definitely have their doors open during the day. Opening hours may vary from branch to branch, as they will have store discretion whether to close early, open later, etc. So you should run a quick search online to ensure what their specific opening times are. If you can’t find that, give them a call. Each store will have a customer telephone number for you to reach them.

Now while Starbucks may not be recognizing Veterans Day by closing their front door. They are recognizing the day in their very own way.
Starbucks is offering free coffee for all veterans, active-duty members and their spouses as well. Some form of official ID will be required to ensure only those entitled to the free coffee will receive one. Military ID or some other suitable ID connecting to the military should be adequate.
