Starbucks brings new festive drink in time to honor World AIDS Day

After a successful debut in Seattle last year, the Juniper Latte is available across the country at Starbucks. It comes just in time to help raise money for World AIDS Day.

Head to your local Starbucks today to check out the latest addition to the holiday-themed menu. After debuting last year in Seattle, the Juniper Latte has been added to the holiday menu in select stores. You’ll need to grab one quick, as it’s only available until supplies last.

The new latte joins the rest of the holiday menu, which includes the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Gingerbread Latte, and Eggnog Latte. Starbucks-themed gifts are also available for those looking for a gift for the coffee lovers in their home.

This new drink comes just in time to honor World AIDS Day on Dec. 1. The coffee chain will donate 20c (USD) for every handcrafted latte customers buy. This includes the new Juniper Lattee and is carried out in both the United States and Canada. All money goes towards the Global Fund to help fight AIDS.

Not sure if the new latte is for you? It’s made with espresso and steamed milk that’s been infused with juniper syrup. Your coffee is then topped with foam and pine-citrus sugar dusting. It’s the perfect holiday treat when you want something a little different.

For those who want something more with their latte can play the Starbucks for Life game. You just need to be a Rewards member and buy during Nov. 27 and Dec. 31. You’ll gain game pieces for a chance to win BOGO beverages, coffee for life, and much more.
