Fandom 250: Starbucks makes the list, the only food and beverage retailer!


The Fandom 250 of 2018 has been revealed and Starbucks has made the cut. The only food and beverage brand to make it onto the list.

Another year, another Fandom 250. As we approach the end of 2018 and prepare to enter 2019. The annual Fandom 250 is announced. This years list consists of many great fandoms, from the likes of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World to Star Wars, sports, and other major brands.

Not many food and beverages made the list this year, in fact, there was only one. Starbucks.

The coffee giants made it onto the list of the best fandoms in the world. But not just that. They were the only ones to do so in their line of work. No other food and beverage retailer managed it, included the likes of McDonald’s, Krispy Kreme, etc.

So how high up the list did they get?

Coming in at a very respectable 168 out of 250 on the fandom list, they ranked an overall 10th when it came to the brand’s category.

A really impressive score when you think about how nothing major has happened this year for them. Unlike movie & TV show fandoms, and sports that have something big and new happening every year. Starbucks didn’t have anything. There were no major changes to the stores, no revamping of menu’s nothing like that.

They just did what they always did. Be awesome and provided good coffee.

A tactic that has seen them come ahead of all other food and beverage retailers.
