The McDonald’s Bacon Cheese Fries have actually been around for a while in one form or another. Since 2017 loaded fries have been on and off the McDonald’s menu. Most recently Cheesy Bacon Fries appeared in Northern California and Hawaii.

However, rather than being a tested menu item that may one day be rolled out nationwide. They have always been labeled as a regional menu item. Which pretty much gave us no hope for it arriving everywhere. That hope has now been rekindled however since the Business Insider report.

To add a bit more hope for fans who would like to see the menu item arrive. Delish reached out to the Golden Arches for a comment. The response they got was not only cheeky, but in my eyes, pretty much solidifies the fact that they will be on the way everywhere very soon.

"“I’m afraid I’ll have to provide a cheesy no comment. At this moment, our kitchens are bacon-ing something together. But we’re not yet ready to share the gouda news.”"
