In short, no. Krispy Kreme is not expected to be open on Christmas Day. Their store doors will be offically shut so their staff can go home and enjoy the holiday. And rightly so.

So, if you feel that you are likely to get a doughnut craving during the holiday you might want to grab at least a double dozen, maybe more, beforehand. Krispy Kreme is open on Christmas Eve so if you are reading this before Christmas, you still have time to stock up.
The good news is Krispy Kreme will not be closed for very long. Krispy Kreme will back up and running the very next day, Dec. 26. So if you really, really want a doughnut or two, maybe a dozen, you will only need to wait 24 hours until the store is back open.

There is always the possibility that your local doughnut store is open for a limited time during Christmas Day. While Krispy Kreme is not expected to be open on Christmas Day that doesn’t mean they will 100% be closed. It means they are very, very likely, but not for definite.
So if you want to be absolutely certain that your local Krispy Kreme is closed during Christmas Day. Just reach out to them directly by calling the customer telephone number. You can get that from them online. Just search your local doughnut shop, take note of the telephone number and call them up directly and ask. Obviously, if nobody answers on Christmas, you will know for sure that they are closed.
