If your Christmas morning includes a breakfast McMuffin or Hashbrown. Will you be able to grab one? Is McDonald’s open on Christmas Day 2018?
Everybody has their very own Christmas tradition. For some, it’s diving head first into the presents under the tree. For others, it’s having the perfect breakfast and relaxing with a nice hot cup of coffee. And of course, the ideal breakfast is a McMuffin with a Hashbrown. If the perfect breakfast is you, will you be able to get a McMuffin and Hashbrown? Is McDonald’s open on Christmas Day 2018?
So the good news is, McDonald’s is open during the holiday. However, not all of the fast food restaurants are open. According to the official McDonald’s website. They note that only a handful of stores will be open during the day, and will vary in their opening hours.

McDonald’s have provided a restaurant locator to let customers find their nearest store that is open during the Christmas period. You can access that right here.
With the vast majority of McDonald’s restaurants being franchises it is down to each individual restaurant to set their holiday hours. Which is why they vary from location to location. Of course, this why it is difficult to find out opening hours during the holiday period, hence the restaurant locator for customers.

Aside from using the locator provided, what you are actually best doing is calling ahead to the McDonald’s restaurant you are planning to visit. You can find the contact information online. Just google the specific store you have in mind and it will ping back with the customer telephone number.
Then just use that to speak to a staff member who will be able to provide you with the opening hours during Christmas Day.
