McDonald’s upgrades the Big Mac and it is for the better

McDonald’s has decided it is time to upgrade the Big Mac, along with a few other menu items, and it’s an upgrade which is for the better.
The Big Mac is the staple menu item of McDonald’s. It’s been on the menu for over 50 years now and it is the same burger as it was when it first arrived. But after 50 years the fast-food giants have decided to upgrade the burger and it is definitely for the better.
As of January 30, the Big Mac Bacon burger will officially be on the menu for customers to order. Along with the Big Mac Bacon burger, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese has had a similar upgrade as well, with the Quarter Pounder Bacon burger becoming available. Cheesy Bacon Fries are also being introduced to the menu.

Both the Big Mac Bacon burger and the Quarter Pounder Bacon burger are the same as the regular Big Mac and Quarter Pounder available on the menu with added Applewood smoked bacon. Each burger comes with three strips of bacon.

How long the new menu items will be around for is not 100% clear. McDonald’s has listed it as a limited time menu option, which means it will not be around for long. But the fast-food giants have not said how long for.
There is always the chance it could become a permanent menu option if it is popular enough. Which may be why McDonald’s has not said how long the Big Mac Bacon burger, Quarter Pounder Bacon burger, and Cheesy Bacon Fries will be here for.
Let’s keep the fingers crossed they will become permanent. Because let’s be honest, bacon makes everything tastes better.
