Krispy Kreme just upgraded four classic donuts into chocolate monsters

Four of the best classic donuts at Krispy Kreme have just got even better than normal by going through the ultimate chocolate upgrade.

You would have thought Krispy Kreme couldn’t improve on their classic donut. But it turns out all they needed was a bit of a chocolate upgrade for the donuts to go from Krispy Kreme classics; to chocolate monsters, every chocolate fan will want to sink their teeth into.

It’s called the chocolate glaze collection, and the donuts will be available in store from today, January 14, right up until January 27.

Each box comes with four of the limited edition donuts. The Chocolate Glazed Cake Batter Donut, Chocolate Glazed Raspberry Filled Donut, Double Chocolate Glazed Kreme Filled Donut, and the Chocolate Glazed Oreo Cookies and Kreme Donut. Each one of them is, in a way, an upgrade on four classic Krispy Kreme donuts.

Here’s how:

Chocolate Glazed Cake Batter Donut: It’s the classic Cake Batter Donut but the chocolate version. Which means its the same donut filled with cake batter, covered in glaze, dipped in icing and topped with sprinkles, but with chocolate thrown in whenever possible.

Chocolate Glazed Raspberry Filled Donut: Just like the classic Glazed Raspberry Filled Donut. The only difference is it is a chocolate donut used which is also covered with chocolate glaze.

Double Chocolate Glazed Kreme Filled Donut: I love this one because it is chocolate filled with more chocolate. Exactly the same as the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled Donut except they use a chocolate donut with a chocolate glaze instead.

Chocolate Glazed Oreo Cookies and Kreme Donut: The Oreo Cookies and Kreme Donut is a firm favorite at Krispy Kreme and this will be too. As the Chocolate Glazed Oreo Cookies and Kreme Donut come with an extra helping of chocolate.
