A tweet that went viral claiming Chick-fil-A will introduce a 4 for $4 deal if they get over 500,000 retweets has been debunked by the fast food chain.

It sounded a little too good to be true and it turns out it was. A tweet, which appeared to come from Chick-fil-A, claimed that if they received 500,000 retweets they would introduce a 4 for $4 deal has been officially debunked.

The fast-food chain has confirmed that it was not them that sent out the original tweet and no such special menu will be arriving. Chick-fil-A confirmed this to Business Insider when Business Insider reached out to them.

It’s an offer that a lot of customers clearly want to happen. Offers like 4 for $4 are certainly popular and have been used in fast food chains such as McDonald’s. But Chick-fil-A has no interest in following the herd.

Maybe one day they will. And it will be a joyous occasion for many fans of the delicious fast food when it does happen if ever, but for now, it’s not. So, if you happen to come across the tweet yourself then just ignore it. You can retweet it yourself if you want. But nothing is going to come from it. Sadly.
