Chick-fil-A on its way to becoming third-largest fast food chain

Look out, fast food world. Chick-fil-A is going for the title of being the “third-largest fast-food chain” in America, and there’s nothing stopping them.
Watch out Subway, because Chick-fil-A is coming for you. It has been predicted for a while now, but Chick-fil-A is on its way to becoming the third-largest fast-food chain in the country when it comes to sales. Subway, which has been slumping somewhat, is in real danger of falling even further behind in the ever-growing fast food wars.
There are plenty of reasons why many are gravitating to the chain that made “Eat Mor Chickin” a cultural catchphrase.

The chain’s service is almost militantly fast, the food is consistently good, and no one can resist their ad campaign, which features two cows who go out of their way to encourage Americans to “Eat Mor Chicken,” or else. All of that, combined with strong sales in 2018, has the Atlanta-based fast-food chain in position to overtake Subway in the sales wars.

Last year, Chick-fil-A increased its sales by 15.5 percent, and traffic to its stores was up 10 percent, according to Restaurant Business, which tracks industry trends. Not only do those numbers put the chain on track to soar pass Subway, but it also puts them within striking distance of McDonald’s, who themselves have revitalized thanks to the success of their All-Day Breakfast menu.
With Chick-fil-A on track to add nearly 100 new restaurants this year, their agenda of fast-food domination is on schedule, and there may be nothing no other chain can do to stop them.
