KFC has just gone and recruited RoboCop as it’s new Colonel

KFC has a new Colonel and it’s a sci-fi icon from the late ’80s. RoboCop has officially been recruited and deemed protector of the famous 11 Herbs & Spices recipe.

Continuing the ongoing KFC marketing campaign which sees a new actor take on the role of the Colonel mascot regularly. From next week, February 24, RoboCop will become the official mascot of the fast food chain in a variety of advertising campaigns.

Not only will Colonel RoboCop become the new mascot of KFC. He will also become the official protector of the famous 11 Herbs & Spices recipe that fans love.

The character, who first appeared on the big screen more than 30 years ago, joins the list of other great mascots for KFC. Previously, the fast food chain featured The Mountain from Game of Thrones and Reba McEntire.

RoboCop has, in fact, appeared as the mascot for KFC before. The campaign was back in the 80s in Korea.

KFC has revealed its newest Colonel Sanders – RoboCop – to act as protector of KFC’s secret blend of 11 herbs and spices used to make its world famous Original Recipe chicken.

KFC has released an ad on social media featuring Colonel RoboCop for all to see. Check it out for yourself just below.
