Oh Twitter, never change. In the tradition of that social media platform, Twitter users flocked to flutter over the fish sandwich. One user, for example, felt sad that the company had failed to do the obvious:  Create a “Fish-fil-A.”

But some were thrilled, even though it should be noted that it’s not a permanent menu item.

The fish sandwich is served on a heated, buttered bun and features two lightly battered fried cod fillets. Cheese and lettuce are included, a tartar sauce with a lemon tang is optional.

Participating Chick-Fil-a restaurants also will be serving up boxes of fish tenders with waffle fries. The sandwich has 370 calories, and the fish tender boxes are 190 calories each.

Be sure to check with your local Chick-fil-A before you get too excited, since not all locations are serving the chicken-free meals.
