Pizza is the staple food of….well, the world really. Everyone loves pizza. However, I’m not sure the world is quite ready for this pizza by Domino’s.
We’ve all had pizza. We might not have all tried every single type of pizza, but I can guarantee you, at some point in your life, you’ve had pizza. If you genuinely haven’t, what planet are you from and do you not have a Domino’s where you come from?
The other almost certainty, other than the fact you have tried a slice or two, is the vast majority of us have eating a slice of cheese pizza. Where some us may have never had an anchovies pizza or a meat feast pizza, I think everyone who has had a pizza has had a slice of plain old cheese.

It’s probably what got us hooked on the food in the first place. Thing is, I reckon if you tried this new cheese pizza from Domino’s, you could have been put off the menu item from the very beginning.
Why?
Because it is overkill that’s why. This cheese pizza is, for starters, way too big and has way too much cheese on it. How much cheese you ask? 2 pounds, that’s how much.
To put that into some sort of perspective for you. That is roughly, 8 cups worth of shredded cheese or four times the normal amount. It’s just too much.

This monster is, thankfully, only being sold in Japan, and by the looks of things has no intention of making its way over to us. Although I won’t old my breathe that it will never, never, make it over because you just don’t know.
Called the “New Yorker One-Kilo Ultimate Cheese”, the pizza costs between $24 and $37, deepening on whether you want it delivery or not. It will only be around until June 23, so, if you happen to be in Japan and want to try it out then you have a short window of time to do so.
