McDonald’s is getting ready for their next round of International flavors: Here’s what we’re most excited for
It looks like McDonald’s is ready for their next round of International flavors to hit their U.S. restaurants and we can’t wait to try these new sandwiches and the dessert option.
We have all known for the longest time that if you leave the United States, you can get your hands on some unique creations, even going to a chain restaurant like McDonald’s. However, that international flare was never brought stateside, until the start of 2019.
As we entered 2019, McDonald’s decided to give four of their international superstars a chance in the U.S., and the results were everything we could have hoped for. But now it may be time for international flavors round two.
According to Delish, new rumors are circulating, thanks to documents apparently obtained by Business Insider, that McDonald’s is getting ready to introduce four new international menu items. And all four of them sound just as delicious as the original offerings we were introduced to.

As Guilty Eats reported when the news broke, this time around, it seems that McDonald’s is opting for the Carmel Brownie McFlurry from Canada, the McChicken McMuffin from Japan, the Grand Premium Chicken Sandwich from France, and the Savory Ranch Burger from Mexico. Now I don’t know about you, but all four of these menu options sound delicious and intriguing.
From the McFlurry to the Ranch Burger, it feels like these new options are all about increasing the flavor profile of the current menu in new and creative ways. However, we admit to being most excited for Mexico’s offering. As a fan of all things ranch, the idea of a Savory Ranch Burger has us ready to dig in. And hopefully it lives up to its ranchy name.
But it is not just the burger we want to try, it is also the Carmel Brownie McFlurry. I mean these are two of the greatest desserts put together with ice cream, so how can you go wrong. Not only is carmel a perfect topping for both ice cream and brownies, but when you combine all three of these things together it feels like you have a winner all the way.
Then of course there is the McChicken McMuffin, which feels like the answer to Whataburger’s Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit or Chic-fil-A’s Chicken Biscuit. Considering how popular chicken seems to be as a part of a breakfast menu, it makes sense that McDonald’s would want to try to capitalize on that idea. And this is the perfect way to do that, especially for those of us who love the regular McMuffins on the menu now.
We are all about new flavors and trying new things, and if any of the current four options don’t work out, we wouldn’t mind seeing a few options that have intrigued us for a while getting a shot at being on the menu. Even if they decided to bring back a few things, like the Mighty Wings, which are still on international menus, following their dismal come back in 2013, we would be happy to throw out a few suggestions.
Perhaps McDonald’s can get a vote going and have us throw out the menu items we want to see arrive in the U.S., after all there are some popular items out there that might do well stateside.
Considering how much we love the current international menu items, we hope that these rumors prove to be true and these new options are available soon. In fact, we hope McDonald’s decides to not only introduce new options to try, but also keeps the original four around. Maybe they can build up their international menu for us stateside, just in case we can’t fly to Mexico or France to indulge in their unique menus.
