Chick-fil-A menu update: Mac and cheese is here to stay

Rejoice, Chick-fil-A fans and lovers of mac and cheese everywhere! The fast food restaurant has decided to keep the limited-time menu item.

Foodies love limited-time menu additions and exclusive seasonal flavors. And don’t get us started with seasonal menus! There’s a special thrill about catching a new item before it leaves, as well as the anticipation of looking forward to the arrival of a favorite. And Chick-fil-A is one of the best at keeping fans on their toes.

There are, however, a few menu additions we wish would stick around forever. The latest is Chick-fil-A’s mac and cheese! This cheesy snack first appeared in locations a couple of years ago as part of the side dish options. Earlier this week, the restaurant announced it will be keeping mac and cheese as a side order for good!

Let it be known, this is the first time the restaurant makes a decision like this since 2016. Additionally, this side order can also be added to any kid’s meal. Here’s part of the press release:

"“Mac and cheese is the quintessential comfort food, and something we are so excited to offer our guests at Chick-fil-A,” Amanda Norris, executive director of menu and packaging, said in a statement."

In more fun and exciting Chick-fil-A news, did you know one Chick-fil-A location sells more than your average McDonald’s? It’s true! McDonald’s still makes more, though, (a ton more) but only because it has way more locations than Chick-fil-A. This is still amazing, because Chick-fil-A isn’t open 24 hours as most McDonald’s are, and the former doesn’t open Sundays, either, or most holidays.
