Popeyes new chicken sandwich was only brought out a couple of weeks ago. It’s now completely sold out across the country. For now at least.
Heard the rumors that Popeyes has already sold out of its new chicken sandwich in some locations? Unfortunately, the rumors are true, and they’re not just limited to certain locations. The Sandwich has sold out everywhere!
Yes, it’s sad news for those who haven’t got their hands on one yet but don’t worry too much. The Sandwich will make its way back to locations soon if Popeyes’ tweet is anything to judge. It would make financial sense for the brand to bring the new spicy chicken sandwich back as soon as possible.

The demand for the new menu item has certainly surpassed all expectations. Supplies were supposed to last until the end of September, according to Delish. Instead, they’ve not even made it to the end of August. While there may be one or two locations with the odd sandwich (reports don’t come in daily about supplies), they’ll be gone by the end of the week.

So, what’s the plan moving forward? In the tweet to announce that the sandwiches had sold out, Popeyes also shared that they would be back “soon.” No idea on when that “soon” is.
However, there is some great news. The Sandwich will become a staple part of the menu. That’s how good the item is and how much people want it. Yes, there will be plenty of people cheering. How do you think Chick-Fil-A will react?
