Wanted one of the Blizzard-scented candles from Dairy Queen? If you didn’t get to the giveaway right away, there’s a slimmer of a chance you’ll get one.
When you think of Dairy Queen, there’s one thing you think about, right? It’s all about the Blizzards. It doesn’t matter the time of year it is, there’s something for all. Is it really that surprising that something involving Blizzards and the word free disappeared within the hour?
In fact, 30 minutes was the time it took for the Blizzard-scented candles to disappear. They were announced on Aug. 26 with the DQ fall menu, with fans of the chain getting the chance to grab a free candle with a sign up at the DQ Fall Blizzard Candle Collection site.

Fans could grab a Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough, Pumpkin Pie, Harvest Berry, Snickers, or Heath Caramel Brownie scented candles for absolutely nothing at all. Of course, they were going to go as quickly as they arrived!
But if you didn’t get your hands on one of the additions, there is a slimmer of a chance to get your hands on one. You’ll want to keep an eye on the Dairy Queen social media platforms, where there may be a few competitions and free prize giveaways to enter. Throughout the fall season, Dairy Queen told Delish that it would offer out Fall Blizzard Treat Candles, DQ Gift Cards, and more.

And while you can’t get your hands on the scented candles, you can grab some of the fall menu Blizzards that are now in restaurants nationwide. It may be starting to get chillier in some parts of the country but it’s never too cold for a Blizzard.
