IHOP is getting spooky with their new Halloween menu inspired by the Addams family
IHOP is getting ready for Halloween and that means getting a bit of a spook with their new menu that is inspired by the Addams family.
Forget IHOB, it looks like IHOP is getting ready for the spookiest season of the year. In honor of the Addams Family movie coming out soon, the breakfast-friendly restaurant is giving their menu a Halloween makeover that is all about the ooky and the spooky.
According to Delish, this creepy menu is truly inspired by the Addams family! Dishes included are: Wednesday’s Web-Cakes, Gomez’s Green Chilli Omelette, and Morticia’s Haunted Hot Chocolate.
Although the new Addams Family movie does not hit theaters until Oct. 11, that doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in some amazing treats at IHOP to get you in the spooky spirit. With the Wednesday’s Web-Cakes, you are getting classic pancakes with icing that includes a chocolate syrup webbing and a dollop of violet colored whipped topping. Then there is the Gomez inspired omelette which features pulled pork, a green chile verde sauce, cheddar and jack cheeses, and onions and peppers that have been fire roasted.
Moving on to the drinks portion of this spooky menu, there is of course Morticia’s hot chocolate which is a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate that is then topped with chocolate syrup and more of the whipped violet cream. And we definitely can’t forget Uncle Fester, which is why IHOP is offering the Uncle Fester’s Chocolate Ice Scream Shake. Basically this is a classic chocolate milk shake, but with our ever-present violet whipped topping to give it that Addams family flair.

If you couldn’t tell, there is a bit of a theme going on when it comes to the Addams Family inspired menu at IHOP, and that is the color purple. Of course, the spook factor itself is also present to really get you into the Halloween spirit.
If you are a fan of the Addams Family or IHOP, then this a no-brainer. You have to go to IHOP and get your breakfast on. Of course, as Halloween lovers, we also can’t resist this twist to the restaurant’s menu, as it is perfect for all those spooky mornings and late night stops.
This new Halloween and Addams Family inspired menu is available now through Nov. 3, which means it really will be haunting IHOP the entire season. So, while these spooky bites and drinks are only around for a short time, you do have time to make a plan to head to a restaurant near you and indulge in a bit of a scare.
