The Mystery Oreo cookies arrived earlier this week. Have you tried these yet? What’s the mystery flavor?
Cookie fans, you can now find Mystery Oreo packages at your local massive retailer! The company was kind enough to send us some and we’ve been putting our taste buds to the test ever since! What’s the mystery flavor? Here’s our best guess and other close guesses we’ve found online.
There’s definitely cinnamon in these cookies, I’m going to go ahead and say: Cinnamon Toast Crunch. They remind me very much of the cereal! They even smell similar. My family agrees, and also comment that it could be cinnamon gingerbread cookies, like Teddy Graham cookies with extra cinnamon.
Online, we’ve found similar opinions, including speculoos (cookie butter) and graham crackers. A friend even commented that they feel a hint of coconut and even chai, but I disagree with both.
Stranger Things star Glen Matarazzo, one of the first to sample the cookie, believes the flavor is french toast. We’re dying to know what the mystery flavor is! But Oreo won’t be revealing it any time soon, so if you haven’t tried the cookie just yet, you still have plenty of time to do so.
How much time, exactly? All the way until Nov. 10. Foodies can report to MysteryOreo.com and submit their best guess there for a chance to win $50,000. Participants can submit a different guess every day. Each correct one is counted as an official entry to the sweepstakes where one random winner will receive the big prize.
