McDonald’s introduced a blueberry and cream cheese pie, but not in the U.S.

McDonald’s knows how to keep their menu interesting, and that means adding new and delicious offerings, including special pies.

If you’re anything like me, then you love the little hand pies that McDonald’s has on their menu. These fried pies are a perfect sweet treat, whether you are grabbing them on their own or after your meal. And while we are used to their apple pie or pumpkin pie (which is definitely seasonal), they have also introduced a few other flavors of the years.

One recent flavor that we have enjoyed has to be the strawberry and cream cheese pie, and now it seems that McDonald’s is adding a new flavor to the menu.

According to Delish, the fast food chain has introduced a blueberry and cream cheese hand pie in select locations. However, those locations are not in the United States. Instead, you need to be in Malaysia to get your hands on these sweet treats.

I don’t know about you, but I am slightly jealous. Blueberry and cream cheese sounds delicious, and if it is anything like their strawberry and cream cheese pies then we are really missing out.

People who had the chance to try these flaky desserts have described it as being both tangy and sweet, which is exactly what we want out of a blueberry pie of any kind. If you want to get blueberry filling and cream cheese in each bite, you definitely want to eat it straight down the middle since one side has the blueberry and one side the cream cheese.

I’m not saying I want to fly to Malaysia for McDonald’s, but also I wish I could fly to Malaysia for McDonald’s.

Maybe we will get lucky and the company will bring this pie stateside, especially if it does well over there. We can definitely hold out hope, as this sounds like the perfect treat for summer.
