Chrissy Teigen has discovered something about eggs that we all need to know. Also: what in the world are ‘night eggs’?

Chrissy Teigen is one of those people who just gets it. There are so many things about her that people love, and rightfully so. She recently came out telling us that she has ‘night eggs’ and she found a way to peel eggs a lot easier without even really trying.

In a recent video on her Instagram, she shared her tips, tricks, and recipe for her “world-famous night eggs”.

What in the world are night eggs exactly? Night eggs are simply eggs that Teigen enjoys right before she goes to bed.

She wrote in a tweet:

"I can’t sleep without being overly full. I take two hard boiled eggs to bed every night and eat them when I randomly wake up. It used to be beef jerky but I’d wake up too puffy.”"

She also referenced how sometimes it’s not just her night eggs that get her through the night; turkey roll ups also help with her middle of the night hunger or cravings.

In her Instagram video, Teigen also showed her followers how she makes her night eggs (boils, peels, slices, and seasons). She either enjoys them on a plate or on a paper towel at night.

As for her peeling technique, well that came up accidentally. She called it the “slam and roll.” She says, “Slam (not too hard) and roll to break up the shell”. Also adding to “Add apple cider vinegar and baking soda to the water for maximum peel ease”.

How did she accidentally discover this trick you may ask? She was drunk. She explained that what ended up being one of the easiest peel jobs she’s done on an egg, started out as her making this video as a joke and then “I got kind of drunk and threw an unmeasured amount of baking soda and apple cider vinegar into the boiling water”.

See? Chrissy Teigen is just one of those people who you can’t help but love. She’s funny, talented, and a great cook.
