A Sour Patch Kids store is now open in New York City
If you’re a Sour Patch Kids fan, what would be your absolute dream? Swimming in a vat of Sour Patch Kids? Finding a giant bag of your favorite flavor? Or would it be getting lost in a Sour Patch Kids store? Well, now that last dream can become a reality because there is now a Sour Patch Kids store in New York City!
Now normally, I’m not dying to go to NYC (even when we’re not in lockdown). It’s a lot of people and lights and just give me a beach and I’m happy. But for a Sour Patch Kids store? Where’s my plane ticket? I’m packed and ready! But I do have one question: what is in a Sour Patch Kids store?

The answer: so much goodness. Based on the picture on the brand’s website, there are Sour Patch Kids everywhere. You can get bags of your favorite flavor (blue for me) or buy as many assorted bags as your sour-loving heart desires. You can also collect all the Sour Patch Funko Pops, buy a t-shirt or two with the brand’s name on them, or pick up a box of the surprisingly good Sour Patch cereal.
Sour Patch Kids store is packed full with tons of sour candy goodness
Could you imagine walking into this store for the first time? I might have whatever the happy equivalent is of a panic attack. I would buy way too much candy (at least one ginormous bag of the blue flavor), a Funko Pop, and probably a shirt that I’d never wear. Since this is NYC, I don’t even want to think about what the price is for some of this stuff, but since it’s a special occasion and it’s my most favorite candy, it would be worth it.
The store is located at 665 Broadway in New York City but if you can’t get there, you can order a lot of the same items (including the candy) online at their website. While browsing on the site, I found a gift box that includes eleven bags of Sour Patch Kids and it’s enclosed in a three-foot-tall Sour Patch Kid. It’s $59.99, but…I think I need it.
