Einstein Bros. Bagels has a new “bagel” and it sounds weird but also delicious

Einstein Bros. Bagels know that not everyone can handle or wants to handle all of the gluten involved with eating the normal bagel. Now they have come up with a creative way for gluten-free eaters to eat one of their “bagel” products.

According to Chewboom, Einstein Bros. now has a new gluten-free option called Eggels. (The name alone has us curious.)

These new Eggels are creative, to say the least, and are made primarily of sous-vide eggs. They are calling it the first-ever gluten-free “bagel” made of eggs. The eggs are made into the traditional bagel ring shape so it at least looks like a bagel from afar.

The sous vide Eggels are currently being offered in two tasty-sounding flavors:

  • Three Meat & Cheese Eggel: All-natural nitrate-free bacon, turkey sausage and uncured ham, paired with white cheddar cheese and everything bagel seasoning.
  • Veggie Egg White Eggel: A vegetarian option made with fresh bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, portobello mushrooms, and spinach with asiago cheese.

Einstein Bros. Bagels has a great partner for making the sous vide Eggels

For these new groundbreaking Eggels, Einstein Bros. Bagels has partnered with Cuisine Solutions who is known for their sous vide manufacturing. They are at the forefront of sous vide preparation and a natural fit for this new product launch.

Einstein Bros. Bagels began featuring their new Eggels on the menu on September 17th. They are available at locations nationwide except for their airport, hotel, and university locations. The Eggels can also be ordered through the Einstein Bros. Bagels app for curbside to-go pickup.
