The fourth season of Somebody Feed Phil has arrived on Netflix with five new episodes of foodie and travel goodness to binge on.

Even though it has only been five months, it feels like a lifetime ago since we had new episodes of Somebody Feed Phil to watch on Netflix. Of course, that could have something to do with how much the world has changed in those five months.

With the world of travel screeching to an almost complete halt, being able to watch travel shows has become a lifeline for people who miss being able to go see new places and experience new cultures. Which is exactly why a new season of Somebody Feed Phil is just what the doctor ordered.

Season 4 of Somebody Feed Phil is finally here.

The new season, which arrived on Netflix Friday, includes five all new episodes of the popular series. For those not familiar, the series sees Philip Rosenthal, the creator and executive producer of Everybody Loves Raymond, travel to a new city each episode and experience the food and culture from his unique point of view. It is the successor to I’ll Have What Phil’s Having, which aired on PBS and is more than worth seeking out.

For the fourth season, which was filmed back-to-back with Season 3, Phil goes to Rio De Janeiro, San Francisco, Singapore, the Mississippi Delta and Hawaii for a whole bunch of new adventures. And as always, each episode features Phil talking with his parents, which is constantly one of the funniest parts of the series.

What makes Somebody Feed Phil so enjoyable is mostly Phil Rosenthal himself. While most food and/or travel shows can come off a bit jaded, pretentious or both, this show is none of that. Phil genuinely is enjoying trying new things and watching as he gets so excited to discover a new food will always put a smile on your face.

All five episodes of Season 4 are now available to stream on Netflix and if you haven’t had a chance to watch the series yet, the previous three are all there waiting for you too. It is more than worth your time and highly recommended.
