Taco Bell is bringing back the Bacon Club Chalupa
By D. Goodman
Taco Bell is on a roll (or is that tortilla?) lately bringing back beloved items to the menu, the latest being the Bacon Club Chalupa.
A few days ago we shared the happy news that Taco Bell is giving their fans a bit of a holiday gift on Christmas Eve this year. That would be when the very popular Loaded Nacho Taco would be making a comeback to the menu for a limited time.
Given the reaction, fans were pretty happy to hear the news, especially after a summer of news that the fast food chain would be paring down their menu and removing several items as a result of the pandemic. I don’t know about anyone else but I still haven’t recovered from the loss of the Meximelt.
However, Taco Bell must be in the Christmas Spirit because news has broken that a few more items would be making a welcome return.
The Bacon Club Chalupa is back at Taco Bell.

The food folks over at Chewboom are reporting that one of the items making a comeback is the so good it sounds criminal Bacon Club Chalupa. In addition, perennial favorite Nacho Fries will also make a return, which should surprise no one.
But the headline here is the return of the Bacon Club Chalupa. News of any variation of the Chalupa alone is worthy of praise, but tell us that the one with all the bacon is back and that’s cause for celebration.
The Bacon Club Chalupa includes grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese and bacon all smothered in ranch dressing. And all that goodness comes inside one of those magical Chalupa shells. Honestly, you had us at “Bacon” but all that other stuff is good too.
Both Nacho Fries and the Bacon Club Chalupa will be joining the Loaded Nacho Taco on the Taco Bell menu starting Christmas Eve for a limited time. So make your plans now to add more bacon to your diet while you can.
