The Great British Baking Show may not be back for another official season for quite a while, but the celebrity version is coming very soon. The baking show will be back for multiple charity specials to help raise money for Stand Up to Cancer.
The first celebrity Great British Baking Show begins on Tuesday, March 9 at 8 PM on Channel 4 in the UK. Who’s going to be in the first special? Star Wars‘ Daisy Ridley, Alexandra Burke from Strictly Come Dancing, Bake-Off: Extra Slice host, Tom Allen, and Rob Beckett, the narrator on Celebs Go Dating.

Daisy Ridley and James McAvoy to be on celebrity Great British Baking Show
But the celebrity bakers won’t be alone in the tent. Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will be back as judges and Matt Lucas will be back as a host. Noel Fielding wasn’t there for filming as he was off on paternity leave.
How will the celebrities do up against the judges’ critical eye? We’ll have to wait and see! It will be interesting to see who knows how to bake and who is coming in blind. There will definitely be some surprises in store.
For fans in the US, we can only hope these charity specials make their way to Netflix or that there’s some way to stream them.
