There is a new hot sub on the Jersey Mike’s menu

When it comes to delicious subs, Jersey Mike’s knows what we like. And if you are looking for a new hot sub for lunch (or dinner), check out the new addition to their menu, especially if you are looking for a meatless meal this Lent.

According to Chew Boom, it seems that for a limited time only, customers looking to enjoy a tasty hot sub can snag a Grilled Portabella Mushroom & Swiss! While it may only be around for a short period of time, we are pretty excited by this new addition to the menu.

With this sub, Jersey Mike’s is giving us fresh Portabella mushrooms that have been grilled up and are then topped with onions, green bell peppers, and swiss cheese. You get to choose which bread this hot sub ends up on, including their classic white bread and their Rosemary Parmesan Bread. And for an additional fee (typically $1.50 depending on where you are), you can even get Gluten Free Bread.

Another option for enjoying this new meatless sub is to get it in a wrap instead or even go completely breadless and opt for it in a tub for $8.95. Yes, this sub also comes in two different sizes, their standard Regular and their Giant size, which will run you around $15.45 for a sandwich that could easily feed two people.

We checked to see if this new sub was available near us, and of course it is! You can find this new menu addition in the Jersey Mike’s app right now and order it for either pickup or delivery.

Not only is this a great addition to the menu because of how delicious it sounds, it’s also perfect as a Lenten option thanks to the fact that it is completely meatless. We are pretty excited to give this new hot sub a try, especially as an alternative to all of the fish sandwiches currently on the market for Lent.
