Target has joined the few fast food restaurants offering perks to customers who have received the COVID-19 vaccine. And, we gotta say, this is our favorite offer so far!

Way to encourage vaccinations, Target! The store is one of the very few to encourage the COVID-19 vaccine by offering a sweet deal. The store joins Krispy Kreme and a few other fast food chains in celebrating being one step closer to pre-COVID.

The store’s Instagram account was proud to share a video with all the details on how you can cash in (literally)  after you’ve received the vaccine. Because sure, I love myself a free donut, but can retail therapy be beat? Especially when you’re getting a freebie?

Target Stores to give $5 coupons to vaccinated customers

According to the store’s post, all CVS Target locations nationwide are not only offering COVID-19 vaccine appointments, but a $5 coupon to the store, as well!

Please note that the only catch is that you do need to get the vaccine at a Target location that is offering vaccines. The source writes, “after you receive your vaccine, you’ll get a $5 Target coupon to spend on in-store purchases of $5 or more.”

So get poked and go shopping! You do need to make the purchase in person, but hey, you’re already there!

Eat This, Not That! shares that Walmart and select Sam’s Club locations are also offering walk-in vaccines, but we’re not sure if they offer coupons as well. It appears Target is the first and only to do so,  but we’ll be sure to keep you posted if anything changes!
