Denny’s introduces new Eggs Benedict-inspired items
By D. Goodman
If you have ever been out to brunch, and what self respecting foodie hasn’t, then you have probably had Eggs Benedict at least once or twice in your life. The breakfast classic sometimes gets a bad rap and while seemingly simple can be notoriously difficult to prepare correctly even for a place that specializes in breakfast such as Denny’s.
For those that may stick to the McDonald’s drive-thru when it comes to breakfast, Eggs Benedict consists of two halves of an English muffin that have been topped with a couple of poached eggs, Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce.
If you have had a bad Eggs Benedict, odds are the culprit was the hollandaise sauce, which can be ridiculously fickle and can break if made by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing.
Anyway, Eggs Benedict also has numerous variations that can appeal to almost any taste. Which is exactly what Denny’s is counting on. The brunch loving folks at Chewboom are reporting that the chain is going all in on Eggs Benedict with a brand new Bennys Breakfast menu.
Get your Eggs Benedict three different ways at Denny’s.

No matter which version you get, they all come with hash browns on the side, which is a nice touch.
