Proper No. Twelve helps us prep for UFC 264

Want to be ready for UFC 264? Proper No. Twelve wants to help with their popular Irish Whiskey and a cocktail or two for the fight.

As the fastest growing Irish Whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve is making sure that we are prepared for UFC 264, which they reminded us is in fact a Proper number 12 itself, “UFC 2+6+4 = 12.” (We are here for the math and the Whiskey.)

Considering Proper No. Twelve is a knockout on its own, it makes sense that this would be the alcohol of choice for the highly anticipated fight. And with a Whiskey that offers notes of vanilla and toasted wood, we can sip it straight or as part of a delicious cocktail.

Luckily, Proper No. Twelve has some ideas for us when it comes to a perfect cocktail. And while they actually offered up a few different recipes to choose from, we found two that we think are both delicious and easy.

Two Proper No. Twelve cocktails to enjoy while watching UFC 264

Want to knock out your friends with an epic cocktail while watching UFC 264? Then these two drinks will make that happen.

Up first we have the Proper Mule:

What you need:

• 2 ounces of Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
• 1/2 ounce of fresh lime juice
• 3 ounces of ginger beer
• Wedge of lime to garnish

What to do:

If you have a copper mug, add ice to the mug. Pour the Whiskey over the ice and then top with the lime juice and ginger beer. Garnish with your lime wedge. (Seriously this is such an easy cocktail to make that you want the very best Whiskey when you make it.)

For our second cocktail, we are making a Proper Lemonade:

What you need:

• 1 part Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
• 4 parts Lemonade

What to do:

Fill a glass with ice. Pour your Whiskey over the ice and then top with fresh lemonade. Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge or a slice of lemon (depending on how much you love lemon). And if you want to shake things up, choose a flavored lemonade or a pink lemonade to really take this cocktail to the next level. (I like Blueberry Lemonade and even Lemon-Limeade with this one.)

With both of these cocktails we are getting a chance to enjoy Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey in a simple drink that is also tasty. And whether you make them for your UFC 264 watch party or any other get together you may have this summer, these are both perfect for all your gatherings.
