To start with, we turn to Tequila, and specifically a recipe from Jose Cuervo. This is their recipe for a Reposado Old Fashioned:

  • 2 ounces of the Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado
  • 1/4 ounce of a simple syrup (to make a simple syrup, you just need water and sugar reduced)
  • 2 dashes of bitters
  • A garnish of Blood Orange

In a rocks glass, add the simple syrup and bitters. Then add your ice and the Jose Cuervo. Stir everything together and then garnish.

Next up, we have a recipe from New Amsterdam Vodka. And with the name of this recipe, you’ll completely understand why we opted for this cocktail. Here is their recipe for the New Year Cider:

  • 2 parts of the New Amsterdam Vodka
  • 1 part of a Sours Mix
  • Sparkling Cider
  • A garnish of lemon, lime, and orange

In a punch bowl that has a giant chunk of ice, mix together all of the ingredients.Stir everything and keep chilled. Once you pour your New Year Cider into the glass, add the garnish of your choice.

Another Vodka based recipe comes to us from NEFT Vodka, and is so high class that it feels like the perfect drink for not just a New Year’s celebration, but just about any special moment! For this decadent cocktail recipe, they are helping us to create the NEFT Violet Night:

  • 1 1/2 ounces of NEFT ultra premium vodka
  • 3/4 ounces of creme de violet
  • 1/2 ounce of rosemary simple syrup
  • 3/4 ounces of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 drops of a violet flower essence

In a cocktail shaker add all of the ingredients together with some ice. Shake it all together vigorously. Then strain the mix into rocks glass that has fresh ice in it and then you can garnish it with a sprig of fresh rosemary. (For my cocktail, I would actually garnish with a slice of fresh lemon.)

Want to shake things up (no pun intended) with a different liquor? Then why not go with a Whiskey based cocktail! Luckily for us, we have a recipe from Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey called the Proper Cider:

  • 2 parts of the Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
  • 3 parts of a warm apple cider
  • A cinnamon stick for garnish

This might be one of the more simple recipes, but it is also one of my personal favorites, as all you need to do is combine the warmed apple cider with the Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey in a mug (you may want to stir this together). Garnish this with a cinnamon stick and enjoy.

Finally, we end with another relatively simple cocktail recipe from NOLET’S Silver Gin, which is perfect for any occasion. Luckily for us, they put together a drink that is simple but delicious and easy enough for anyone to make. For this final cocktail, we have the NOLET’S Silver Holiday Gin & Soda:

  • 1 1/2 ounces of NOLET’S Silver Gin
  • 3 ounces of soda water
  • Fresh cranberries
  • A garnish of fresh rosemary

In a balloon glass (or the glass of your choice), add ice and then pour the NOLET’S Silver. Then you pour the soda water over the top. From there add some cranberries and your garnish of fresh rosemary.
