When does the Pumpkin Spice Latte come back to Starbucks?

Summer is quickly nearing its end and the first signs of fall are already coming — here’s looking at you Halloween candy displays! With September inching closer and only a few short weeks left in summer, fans are looking ahead to the start of the fall season and the return of our fall favorites including the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

While brands have admittedly taken the pumpkin spice trend a bit too far in recent years, one seasonal classic that will never go out of style is Starbucks’s tasty fall drink.

There is truly no better way to enjoy a fall day than by making a Starbucks run to order a Pumpkin Spice Latte to enjoy as you rock your favorite cozy sweater and enjoy the brisk fall air. Unlike other seasonal drinks which can be enjoyed year-long, this is one treat fans can only get for a limited time each year timed to the arrival of the fall season which makes its arrival each year that much more special.

While Fall might not formally begin until Sept. 22, Starbucks will be getting a jump on the fall festivities a bit early with the Pumpkin Spice Latte set to return in just a matter of weeks!

When is Pumpkin Spice back at Starbucks 2021?

Although Starbucks has not yet confirmed the official date the Pumpkin Spice Latte will be returning to the menu, history suggests the fan-favorite drink will be making its comeback at the tail end of August 2021.

Looking back at recent trends, the Pumpkin Spice Latte has returned on the final Tuesday of August for the past three years returning on Aug. 25 in 2020, Aug. 27 in 2019, and Aug. 28 in 2018. Should Starbucks continue this trend into 2021, it’s possible the Pumpkin Spice Latte will return to the Starbucks menu on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021.

Because the final Tuesday of the month falls a bit later in the month this year, it is possible Starbucks could surprise fans in scheduling the drink’s return for Tuesday, Aug. 24. In fact, a recent menu leak seems to suggest Starbucks might be adding the Pumpkin Spice Latte to its menu on Aug. 24 which is news we’re sure all fans will appreciate.
